Postage & Packaging

I always reuse and repurpose packaging materials as much as possible.
UK purchases are packaged within a week for dispatch using Royal Mail standard 2-3 day service.
European and other international shipping will be individually calculated, as prices are more subject to change. You must email me and the price can be worked out at that time. Any and all import/export taxes/duties, are to be paid by the recipient.
Please make sure you give your full name, email, phone number & full postal address at checkout.
Items are carefully, safely and securely wrapped for postage/delivery. I’m not able to take responsibility for items once delivery is attempted.
Postage is calculated by weight and contents are insured and tracked. (Please note these prices include careful packaging) :
Up to 350g - £2.00.
350g - 500g - £3.50.
500g to 1kg - £5.50.
1 - 2kg - £6.90.
2 - 5kg - £12.60.
5 - 10kg - £18.10.

For commissions and larger orders postage or use of courier, this will be calculated at the time of sending.

If you are not completely happy with your purchase, you have 14 days to return it. Items must be returned in the same condition they were sent and the sender is responsible for safely packing the items and for the cost of return postage. Please keep proof of postage until I have confirmed that I have received the item; an exchange or refund can then be arranged.

Measurements are given in centimetres. The rim, width, neck or opening is listed first, then the height. As photographs can make scale hard to judge please carefully read the sizes listed in the description before checkout.
Due to the handmade nature of the work glaze finishes may vary slightly.
As products are mostly made to order, if the item is not in available in the shop, please get in touch. For small items of low quantity, the minimum lead time would be a few weeks. For a larger quantity or bespoke designs, it would much longer - this would also depend on the current workload.

Items can be used in the microwave. I would not recommend using in the oven, as thermal shock could be an issue.
A dishwasher could be used, although I think hand washing would be kinder.
Items are food safe.

A deposit is required to secure your order, and this confirms agreement to terms of sale. This can range between 30-50% of the order total, subject to the type and volume of order.
Your order will commence production on receipt of deposit.
If you cancel your order, your deposit is refundable subject to date of cancellation in relation to order date and the volume of work completed.
Research and development processes can incur an additional cost. This cost is set on a case-by-case basis and in some cases can be taken off the final order total. Please contact me for further information.
Delivery of order is paid for by the client and will be worked out at the time of delivery as the costs can only be determined once the items are packaged and weighed. The invoice will be reissued at the time of delivery to include this.
The final remaining balance is due upon receipt of the order.
